From December 19-22, 2018, Small Stage popped up at New Westminster’s Anvil Center for a whimsical series of dance performances that captured the joyful time of year. Our dancers brought the magic of the winter holidays to life, performing their pieces live as characters inside snowglobes!

Small Stage’s snowglobe shows were inspired by various aspects of the season, showcasing pieces in a variety of dance styles. From 4:30pm to 7:30pm, audiences were treated to performances that drew from elements such as sugar plum fairies, stardust, and more! Surrounding our performers, the Anvil Center was transformed into a winter wonderland, featuring music, performances, and activities that captured the holiday spirit. As people made their way through the exhibits, they couldn’t help but stop at our eye-catching snowglobe dances! The magic didn’t stop at the end of the performances! After the show, attendees put on their dancing shoes to join their friends, family, and favourite performers for a Small Stage dance party.
